Born in France in 1973, Arzhela Le Maitre was introduced to bobbin lace at age 12 at Bayeux conservatory with Myléne Salvador (Meilleur Ouvrier de France 1982) and Florence Quinette; being introduced to several techniques such as Torchon, Cluny, Tallies, Tonder, Courseulles polichromy and Chantilly. In Spain, she has collaborated since 1996 with the magazine Manos Maravillosas, where she published her first designs. In 2013 she completes her formation with Pilar Montanos, specially in Withof Duchess technique and with intensive courses with Ulrike Voelcker.
